I have lived with dachshunds since middle school and began showing dogs in 1990. My husband is of tremendous assistance because he is a veterinarian and, of course, loves the dachshunds as well.
The dachshunds are a huge part of our everyday life. We love them because they make us laugh, comfort us, take us for walks and keep us warm.
We have our very own "dishwashers"!

We also have two-legged offspring - our children Kate and Jesse Palermo. Luckily Kate & Jesse love the Dachshunds as much as the dogs love them.
