Our early 1800's home is in Skaneateles, NY, a village located on the northern shore of Skaneateles Lake. We are 30 minutes west of Syracuse and an hour east of Rochester. Skaneateles is a quaint village with great restaurants, lakeside parks, many fine inns and B&B's as well as numerous shops, including "Aristocats & Dogs", a pet boutique.
Skaneateles is the eastern gateway to the Finger Lakes and New York State's wine country, and features many annual events such as the Curbstone Festival, Antique Boat Show, Fall Fest and Dickens' Christmas. It has summer concerts in the park, polo matches and a beautiful nature trail near our home. If you want to visit our dachshunds, plan to stay in Skaneateles for a few days.
